Are you and your family staying in Derbyshire for a special occasion?
The last couple of years (not so much 2020 though, for obvious reasons!), I have photographed families visiting the area just for the weekend. Most of these have been celebrations of wedding anniversaries or similar. Where extended family, who live all across the UK (or further) have come together to mark the special occasion in the Peak District.
Now, my usual timeframe of two weeks between shooting and viewing, goes out the window for this type of portrait session.
So what I have found works best - is to photograph your family at the first reasonable opportunity during your stay. So, if you arrive Thursday evening, the Friday morning would be best. Then depending on what other plans you have, the viewing would be ideally on the Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. I can take individual orders from each family and arrange to post the items directly to each household. Viewing can be at my studio in Darley Dale, or at the holiday let you and your family are staying in.
If this is something you are thinking about - please get in touch to check availability, as I would need to be free to not only take the portraits, but to edit and prepare for your viewing within a short timeframe.
For the same reason, there is a rush fee of £45 on top of the standard session fee.
